Just over 30 years ago Ann knocked on my door, looking for a child minder. And we've been friends ever since, helping each other out wherever we could. From Ann hoovering behind my sofas after I had surgery to knocking down part of my kitchen wall and enjoying many social events including one particular New year's Eve where we actually got snowed in. We were also lucky enough to be able to go over to France and help out where needed. Be it coppicing trees, being a labourer, prepping food or my favourite pruning the yellow climbing rose.
Words cannot say how much you will be missed. Forever in my thoughts.

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
